Wellness Court

Wellness Court for Colorado’s 18^th Judicial District 
Colorado’s 18^th Judicial District has a voluntary diversion program for nonviolent felony offenders with mental illness diagnoses. The Wellness Court program brings them into an intensive treatment program that can include housing, transportation, intensive case management, contingency management and individualized treatment plans, rather than incarceration. Our affiliate has a liaison to the Wellness Court who meets regularly with the people in the program to make them aware of NAMI’s services and to encourage outreach to their family members.
